The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has launched the Data Transparency Dashboard, an innovative project in partnership with the University of Houston’s Data Science Institute aimed at promoting data freedom. This dashboard provides valuable data about the local justice system to the public, media, and researchers. The initiative seeks to foster openness, accountability, and informed public participation in line with transparent government principles and is done in partnership with the University of Houston.
